“Many times I have heard members share that their home group members are their real family. Don’t ever forget that unity, and hence fellowship is the second legacy of our society. It is one third of the equilateral triangle that upholds our circle of sobriety.”
Interestingly unity is the last half of the word community. We come together to recover, learning that without each other we cannot survive. Bonded by this need and newly acquired principles and attitudes a new community emerges with defined customs to help others who are living in the darkness.
Today the remarkable unity of A.A. is one of the greatest assets that our Society has.
